ACE Missile Preparation
Colorado Air National members from the 140th Maintenance Group, 140th Wing, prepare to load a missile onto the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft during an Agile Combat Employment exercise, Buckley Air Force Base, Aurora, Colorado, July 28, 2020. This ACE wartime scenario is designed to train maintenance, fuels and security forces personnel to deploy with equipment to a simulated remote airstrip in order to rearm F-16s, and then quickly depart. The ACE exercise aims to increase the operational wartime readiness in order to create a more flexible and adaptable air force while increasing lethality in combat.
