U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Eric Foster, weapons standardization technician, and Tech. Sgt. Jared Powell, aircraft maintenance technician, 140th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, are assisted by Senior Airman Shelton Kingston, munitions technician, 140th Maintenance Squadron, in loading an AIM-120 missile onto an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft during an Agile Combat Employment exercise, Buckley Air Force Base, Aurora, Colorado, July 28, 2020. This Agile Combat Employment wartime scenario is designed to train maintenance, fuels and security forces personnel to deploy with equipment to a simulated remote airstrip in order to rearm F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, and then quickly depart. The ACE exercise aims to increase the operational wartime readiness in order to create a more flexible and adaptable air force while increasing lethality in combat.
