REPI Orientation Flight

Members from the Trust for Public Land and Great Outdoors Colorado, and key employees from Arapahoe County and City of Aurora took a ride on a Colorado Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to observe the land surrounding Buckley Air Force Base. Prior to the flight, they met with Maj. Gen. H. Michael Edwards, the Adjutant General of Colorado, and senior leaders from the Colorado National Guard to discuss the ongoing Compatible Use Buffer project at Buckley Air Force Base May 20, 2016. This initiative will provide encroachment protection for the base, ensuring the continued success of the various aviation missions on the installation. (U.S, Air National Guard photo by Capt.
