Col Wilhite Memorial

Family, friends and members of the Colorado Air National Guard gathered for a Celebration of Life honoring retired Col. Jack Elliott Wilhite, Mark Johnson's Hangar, Broomfield, Colo., February 8, 2015. Wilhite spent a 32 year career as a pilot; accruing over 41,000 flying hours, 5,000 of which were completed in military fighter jets. In honor of Wilhite's service to the military and the aviation community, multiple flyovers were performed in front of all who came to pay tribute to a man who represented the very best of Colorado aviation.
