Operation Centennial Raging Waters
Colorado and national civil search and rescue teams from around the country prepare to receive a delivery of food and water to hand out to Colorado residents that have been cut off to the surrounding areas due to the flood waters in Larimer County west of Fort Collins Colo. Sept. 17, 2013. What is being dubbed “Operation Centennial Raging Waters” is likely the biggest rotary-wing airlift mission since Hurricane Katrina and has become a complete neighbors helping neighbors effort with state national guards from Colorado and Wyoming, Active duty units from Colorado as well as search and rescue units from all over the country.
