Sunrise Elementary School thanks veterans

Spectators clap and cheer as fifth grade students hold up their mosaic display simulating the American flag during a Veterans Day parade at Sunrise Elementary School in Aurora, Colo., Oct. 17, 2008. The school is hosting its fifth annual parade to honor former and current members of the U.S. armed forces. Current members of the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, from Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., lined a sidewalk to show support for the students, and also judged the patriotic event.
