Tiger Meet of the Americas
Starboard-side view of F-16C, serial 87-0241, in-flight over western Colorado. Following the traditions of the NATO/ EuroTiger Meet, the Colorado ANG painted this F-16C in dramatic "tiger" markings for the Tiger Meet of the Americas. The Inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas was held at Buckley AFB, CO from 8-13 Aug. 2001 and brought together flying units from throughout North America that have a Tiger or large cat as their unit symbol. The Tiger Meet of the Americas closely mirrors the NATO / Europe Tiger Meet in its goal of fostering camaraderie, teamwork and tactics familiarization. USAF Photo by SSgt. Greg L. Davis.
