233d Space Group Activation
Air National Guard Col. Gregory T. White, 233d Space Group Commander, hands the 137th Space Warning Squadron flag to Lt. Col. Thomas H. McKenna, the newly appointed commander of the 137 SWS, during the 233d Space Group Activation Ceremony, March 10, 2013, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Greeley, Colo. Instead of encompassing the entire unit as it had in the past, the 137th Space Warning Squadron is now a smaller component of the 233d Space Group, which will continue to operate under the 140th Wing, performing the one-of-a-kind Mobile Ground System mission that these men and women have been doing since 1996.
