Airmen assigned to the 153rd Airlift Wing, Wyoming Air National Guard loaded cargo February 9-13 at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado in support of the recent 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard deployment to South Korea.

Senior Master Sgt. Darby Whitesell, Tech. Sgt. Thomas Kidder, Staff Sgt. Benjamin Escobedo, and Staff Sgt. Andrew Macleod used a 153rd Airlift Wing Next Generation Small Loader, which was transported from Cheyenne to Aurora, to load containers and assisted with tying down larger equipment on six civilian and military aircraft. The Wyoming Air Guard air transportation specialists along with 1st Lt. Mark Verbruggen, 90th Missile Wing, F.E. Warren Air Force Base collaborated with the 433rd Airlift Control Flight and 733rd Student Training Squadron, Joint Base Lackland to upload over 311,000 pounds of cargo.

"Assisting the Colorado Air National Guard gave us a chance to do what we love to do. Moving cargo and moving people is what we do best." said Senior Master Sgt. Jeffrey Collins, 153rd Small Air Terminal Superintendent. "It was truly a team effort. Texas reservists, Wyoming Guardsmen and an active duty Lieutenant from F.E. Warren Air Force Base came together to make a successful deployment for the 140th Wing."
