Operation Centennial Raging Waters
U.S. Army PVT Ben Stocker, CH-47 Chinook helicopter Crew Chiefs with the 2nd Battalion, 135th General Support Aviation Battalion, Colorado National Guard, looks out over Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins Colo. as they fly towards an area effected by the flood waters to deliver food and water to Colorado residents that have been effected by the floods but are allowed to stay with their homes, Sept. 17, 2013. What is being dubbed “Operation Centennial Raging Waters” is likely the biggest rotary-wing airlift mission since Hurricane Katrina and has become a complete neighbors helping neighbors effort with state national guards from Colorado and Wyoming, Active duty units from Colorado as well as search and rescue units from all over the country.
