Falcon Air Meet 2009

A member of the Belgium Air Force accepts food from a traditional Jordanian dish called Mansif during the culture night celebration October 26, 2009, Mwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan, during Falcon Air Meet 2009. The Falcon Air Meet is a friendly competition centered on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. F-16 units from Jordan, Belgium and the 169th Fighter Squadron from the South Carolina Air National Guard competed in this 4th annual event hosted in Jordan. As in past Falcon Air Meets members of all the participating countries will often get together to learn of each others cultures and enjoy each others company when they are not competing in the annual events that brought them together in the first place.
