LIEUTENANT COLONEL JAMES T. REEMAN

Lt Col James T. Reeman is the Commander, 138th Space Control Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO - Colorado Air National Guard. He is building a worldwide deployable, combat ready 88-person squadron executing offensive space control missions and a 12-person space control training detachment.

Lt Col Reeman was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Texas Air National Guard as the top graduate from the Academy of Military Science in 1993. He was also the top graduate from Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training and F-16 Training.  In Texas, he served as an F-16 pilot, flight lead, and life support officer. He joined the Colorado Air National Guard in 1998 as a traditional guardsman and held key positions throughout the squadron, operations and maintenance groups. Lt Col Reeman also served as the National Guard Coordination Center Operations Team Chief at Arlington Hall, Virginia where he was responsible for the implementation of the operational battle rhythm of the National Guard’s Domestic Operations. In 2019 he graduated from Officer Undergraduate Space Training, receiving his space operations badge. Lt Col Reeman is a senior command pilot with more than 2799 hours in the F-16, and 269 combat hours flying in Operations Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom. In the civilian sector, Reeman is 757/767 Captain for Delta Air Lines and serves on the Board of Directors for the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum.
