140th CE Airmen receives Bronze Star
On Saturday, March 6th, Lt. Colonel Gregory Staut, Commander of the 140th Civil Engineering Squadron, was presented with the Bronze Star by 140th Wing Commander Brig. Gen. Trulan Eyre. Staut received the medal for duties performed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as commander of Facility Engineering Detachment 4, 732nd Air Expeditionary Group, 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Balad Air Base, Iraq. 140th CE Airmen Receives Air Force Combat Action Medal and Bronze Star
On Saturday, March 6th, Tech. Sgt. Richard Gibbons of the 140th Civil Engineering Squadron, was presented with the Air Force Combat Action Medal and Bronze Star by 140th Wing Commander, Brig. Gen. Trulan Eyre. Gibbons received the medals for service as an Explosives Ordnance Disposal Craftsman during his tour in Afghanistan supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. His tour was cut short due to injuries sustained from an enemy attack, for which he was previously awarded a Purple Heart. (Air Force Photo by Master Sgt. Rochell Smith, 140th Wing Public Affairs)

F-16 Tail Flash Commemorates 150th Anniversary of the Colorado National Guard
To commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Colorado National Guard, the 140th Wing painted an F-16 tail flash. The flash was designed by Visual Information Coordinator, U.S. Army Master Sgt. Dave Schmidt, and painted by 140th Wing maintainers, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jim Riser and Technical Sgt. Phil Kistler. The jet will be flown by 140th Wing Commander, Brig. Gen. Trulan A.
