No Barriers Warriors 2015 programs
Mission:  We empower veterans and transitioning service members with disabilities, and survivors of the fallen, to overcome barriers and unleash their potential. Our experiences serve as both an opportunity for growth and catalyst for change as these brave men and women stretch boundaries, build teams, innovate through adversity and step up to lead and serve others. Complementing the reintegration process, this program provides quality transformative experiences that inspire warriors to grow and continue to contribute their absolute best to the world.

Our journey-based expeditions range from one day to three weeks in length, and have taken us to Nepal, Ecuador, Peru, the South Pole and locations around the US.

tabAirman and Family Readiness Updates
The following classes are available for COANG members and family.

LOVE AND LOGIC:  Do you have questions when it comes to raising children?  This workshop addresses those parenting issues using Love and Logic techniques.  We can assist you in making early childhood parenting fun, creating a happy family and raising responsible kids.  The class focuses on allowing your child(ren) to make behavioral choices while teaching them to be responsible and respectful.  Real world examples by parents lead to lively discussions.  Parents who have children below 9 years of age will benefit immensely.  This five session seminar is scheduled on 6, 13, 20, 27 Apr and 4, 11 May 2015 at 1300-1500 at the HAWC.

COOKING DEMONSTRATION:  Need fresh ideas for healthy snacks for your kids?  A cooking demonstration and food tasting at the HAWC will be held on 15 April 2015.  Cooking will be provided onsite by a chef from Whole Foods.

MANAGING BEHAVIORS:  A seminar will be presented by an expert speaker from the Kempe Center, a nationally recognized agency who has treated children who have been abused.  Topic will be "Managing Behaviors".  Seminar will be held at LDC on 22 April 15 at 1300-1430.
