This competition is designed to encourage and motivate EANGUS members to help increase membership in the organization during 2016.

179-Day Rule for Bonus Entitlements
Recruiting and retention received updated guidance that allows Air National Guard members to keep their bonuses when they pursue temp technician and/or temporary AGR.  The guidance states,  " Members may serve unlimited TEMPORARY Technician or TEMPORARY AGR tours without incentive implications. Incentives will NO LONGER BE TERMINATED for members serving on TEMPORARY Technician or TEMPORARY AGR tours."  Please contact the Recruiting and Retention office if you need further information or have questions.

Crisis Text Line
The Crisis Text Line provides free, confidential, 24-hour counseling with more than 600 trained volunteer counselors around the world. Although the service has received little publicity, counselors have already exchanged more than 15 million messages with individuals in distress for a variety of issues to include sexual assault, suicide, eating disorders, stress, etc.
1.  Text 741-741 from anywhere in the USA, anytime, about any type of crisis.
2.  A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds quickly.
3.  The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment

Military Teen Adventure Camps
Military teens (14-18 years old of Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, and Retired personnel) will have an opportunity to participate in adventure camps scheduled May 2016 through February 2017 at little to no cost. These high energy, high adventure, and high experience camps are planned across the United States from Washington to New York and the states in between. This is the perfect chance for you to experience the outdoors as you never have before!

Each camp offers a unique outdoor experience that will allow you to build your leadership, self-confidence, and teamwork skills while engaging with the outdoors. Camps have funding available to assist with transportation costs.

Grand Canyon University American Hero's Scholarship
In appreciation for all of our current and past military personnel and their families, Grand Canyon University is proud to offer the EANGUS/Auxiliary American Hero's Scholarship. GCU will provide a scholarship (tuition, books, LMS fee) for the person whose application and short essay best demonstrate a desire and need for educational and financial support toward finding your purpose. Allied Van Lines Military Scholarship Program
Annually, 2 recipients will be awarded 1,000 dollars towards their education. Any serviceman, veteran, or military dependent (spouse or child) majoring in logistics, as well as equivalent majors such as business, business operational management, and other like majors can apply for this scholarship.

The Attic is open for all ranks.  They carry household goods, clothing (lots of kids clothes), uniforms/accessories, and furniture. They are open this Saturday to help out our DSG's.  They also take clean, usable donations so when you are cleaning out your attic or garage don't forget the Airman's Attic and help out our own.
