Donate to the Aurora Theater Shooting Memorial
From MSgt Lydia Hanson:
I am part of a group of four jurors from the Aurora theater shooting trial whose lives were greatly impacted by this life-changing event. While the weight of the trial and its eventual outcome has affected us tremendously, we realize our emotions are trivial when compared to the pain and suffering endured by the victims' families and friends.

In an effort to show our support for the victims, we have banded together to help raise funds to complete a permanent memorial in Aurora to honor the lives lost. It is our most heartfelt desire to help the victims families find a sliver of beauty amidst the tragedy.
Below are links to articles written about the battle to raise the funds for the memorial.  I can tell you first hand about the horror the victims endured and it would be a further tragedy if we, as a community, cannot find it in our hearts to contribute to the efforts to memorialize those injured and the 12 that lost their lives.
If you would like to contribute please let me know and I would be happy stop by and pick or provide you with a link to make donations.  Checks should be made out to 7/20 Memorial.  The 7/20 Memorial Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization.  Your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  While donations can be made online, we are hoping to collect contributions and deliver them as a lump sum at future Memorial Board meeting.
