VA Home Loans Centers
VA Home Loan Centers is a Department of Veterans Affairs sponsored organization working with active duty service members and veterans in an effort to assist our nation's heroes in securing affordable housing. VAHLC specializes in home loans, short sale assistance, and real estate representation between buyers and sellers.  We provide first-time home buyers with free agent representation, as well as $0 down and no closing costs. Military members facing a foreclosure or short sale in need of assistance are provided our services at no charge. 2014 Military Adventure Camps
Would your kids like to spend time whitewater rafting, hiking, rock climbing, winter camping, backpacking, mountain biking, exploring the environment, running ropes courses, or practicing wilderness skills?
Military teens (14-18 years old) will have an opportunity to participate in adventure camps scheduled May 2014 through April 2015 at little to no cost. These high energy, high adventure, and high experience camps are planned across the United States.

4th Saturday at the Colorado Freedom Memorial
What: Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about the sacrifice of Colorado's fallen heroes.
When: The fourth Saturday of every month from 9:00 - 11:00 am

What: In conjunction with the 1968 exhibit, which opened on Feb 7, History Colorado would like to honor all veterans and their families. Admission is free and there will be a dinner program in the evening.

What:
This is a FREE show so no tickets or reservations are required.

TREA 39 Casino Night
What:
The TREA (The Retired Enlisted Association) is hosting a casino night! They are hiring a casino company to bring in a make-shift casino (craps, blackjack, roulette, and poker tables) to raise money.It is going to be a $25 buy-in with an optional $25 re-buy. Your buy-in gives you $2000 in chips to gamble throughout the night and at 9:15 PM you use your winnings to bid on prizes (40" TV, Keurig, Tablet, etc.).

How to Meet an AF Board
Who: Open to everyone
When: Friday, 6 March from 1300-1400
Where: Bldg 30/FTAC Classroom
Why: The focus of this course is on the preparation to meet the board and covering the do's and don'ts. The facilitator will also explain the entire "meeting the board" process from knocking on the door and entering all the way to closing the door on your way out of the room.

Bullet Writing Part I and II
Who: Open to everyone
When: Monday, March 16 and Thursday, March 19 from 12:00-1:30 pm
Where: Bldg 30/FTAC Classroom
Why: Air Force bullet writing is an art form that we all must learn for both our own and our subordinate's success. This two-part series focuses on applying the lessons in a classroom setting. In Part I we will focus on extracting the facts needed for a good bullet, building the structure, and streamlining the final product. You will receive a homework assignment that volunteer leaders will review in Part II.

Judging will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 10:00am-5:00 pm at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.  Lunch will be provided.
