Colonel JEREMIAH S. TUCKER

Col Jeremiah Tucker is the 140th Wing Commander, Colorado Air National Guard, Buckley AFB, Colorado. Colonel Tucker leads over 1700 personnel supporting F-16C+ fighter mission, a mobile ground system missile warning mission, and a civil engineering mission. He assures adequate training of assigned military personnel and high quality aircraft maintenance through timely phased assessments. He also establishes base policies to assure effective personnel, equipment, funding, supply, procurement and facility management. In his previous assignment, Col Tucker served as Senior Executive Officer to the Director of the Air National Guard, Pentagon, Washington DC. He served as a senior advisor to the Director and was the focal point for DOD, HQ Air Force, Joint Staff, Congressional, White House, and industry’s relevant equities directly affecting ANG and AF capabilities.  
 
Colonel Tucker earned his commission in 1999 from the Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, TN. He graduated October 2000 from joint undergraduate pilot training, Vance AFB, OK and completed F-16 qualification training at Luke AFB, AZ before returning to the 120th Fighter Squadron, Buckley AFB, Colorado Air National Guard. He has extensive combat, training, and staff experience across multiple CCMDs, to include Operation Southern Watch, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Noble Eagle, European Deterrence Initiatives (EDI), Theater Strategic Packages (TSP), and allied/coalition Air Force exchanges.
